R63 wasn't supposed to be updated stand-alone.
The update needs MCU upgrade from SIPS.
If you update only the MPU (R63), you're going to face some issues...

ok, I thought we could do the infotainment update in R63 via USB . So I couldn't do the update myself

Yes, you can perform the update from USB, but R63 update require MCU update from SIPS
You're going to face some issues if you don't upgrade MCU to 68.3.7.0

@haloweenhamster Does the lack of MCU in R63 impact only the programmable charge limit via the car, or are other functions affected as well?
I just bought a 2022 MG4 Luxury, and it has R24.

Haven’t ever paid much attention to the weather app on mine but just noticed it’s not displaying any data - is that a R63 specific thing? Infotainment update was installed correctly using both USB and SIPS.
