The Model 3 performance claiming under 3 seconds for the 0-60 seems like pure marketing once again, and it works , the Xpower should be advertised at 3.4 ?
Then there's the car at double the price on road to the Xpower. Yes the Tesla is a nicer car , more range and a sniff of extra performance, but man Tesla really failed on the new model. They simply turned up the inverter software to hit the marketing point of sub 3, then slapped some seats, changed the wheel covers. Brakes and suspension , maybe the biggest change. All in all no heads up, no stalks , no driver side cluster, no buttons. Then they wonder why demand has dropped. They read their market as the same market that created them, they were tech enthusiasts and well off that could afford, what they should be doing is looking at mainstream buyers in the 35 to 60 bracket who want buttons, more instrument panels , and a car that looks like a car rather than a cartoon car. Oh and fricken stalks ! And boy could they make a stir with a shooting brake etc. yes the tech is amazing , but man let mainstream drivers feel at home. Rant complete
