So had my 2nd service and each time it goes in they put the tyre pressure to 2.5. I forgot to check this before I left.

On the door frame it’s says the pressure should be 2.2

Is it written somewhere else that it should be 2.5?

Yes, I noticed that too, pressure was increased to 2.6bar after 1st service??

Lol. Just had my first service... the pressures were dropped to 2.0 bar all round.
Very little standardisation from dealer to dealer it seems

It should be 2.2 bar , though the inflation pump in the boot says 2.3 bar . It does seem that the dealers are clueless.,as are some tyre "specialists". Last time I had 4 new tyres on my previous car ,I advised them the pressures should be 36 psi all around . Picked up the car and my pressure was different on each tyre varying between 28 and 40 😵‍💫

I had 6 new tyres put on my Sprinter RV dually. I said what did you pump them up to? 195/70 15C 104/102 rated. He said we do everything to 38 psi. I said what about the 65 psi stickers over each wheel arch??
PITA to correct as the rear valves are in the middle gap and awkward to reach. Tyre monkeys….

As a matter of interest, did you check that pressure cold?

Good question but yes I always do. Car not driven for 2 days and this is the pressure.

Higher than recommended, but running at 2.5 will get you a noticeably better range at the cost of a slightly harsher ride though. ;)
It may be my imagination but I feel like the wheels spin on pull away from standing more. I am not heavy footed on the acceleration. ;-)

Oh, yeah, thinking about it, on the 5, with it already being "skittish", the higher pressure will cause it to spin more on take off as there's less contact patch!
