Windows key and the Dot key (pressed together) brings up an emoji menu.

I don't know if it's generic or just with this forum's software, but if you know the name of what you want you can type : followed by a word (no space after the colon) and it'll give some suggestions. E.g. ": palm" without the quotes or space gives you a list, one of which is man_facepalming which is what you were after .

':man' or ':face' don't give what you wanted as there are too many other things with those words in them. It's generally best if you know the start of the emoji name such as for cat or dog.

If you see an emoji in another post that you want to use, then on Android, long press the emoji and it should give the emoji name and often, also a description. I suspect right click on windows may do the same thing.

Interestingly another forum I'm on also uses XenForo, but that one uses :fp2 for the facepalm emoji I posted earlier. Guess different versions have different emoji sets?
