I’m travelling in NSW Australia and want to climb over the mountains from the coast at Batemans Bay to get to Canberra. 700 metres elevation in 30 km. Any tips?

No personal experience. Logic dictates that it should be less difficult than a diesel because your car has more torque, and doesn't eat of the thinner air. Perhaps there's something in the manual about steeper slopes or the like?

As long as you have enough battery charge to get you where you want + some extra (30% is my personal minimum to stop and charge) nothing to worry about. Enjoy the ride.

Unless you start with 10% before the mountains, it's not going to be a big deal. You will use some more battery than usual on the incline, but will get quite a bit back on the way back down.

I've driven mk2 MGZS LR over mountains without problems. The cold might reduce range slightly, but otherwise I can't foresee problems. Hope you have fun.
