Using Tesla Superchargers with my ZS EV

I got the Tesla app, registered a card, found a "charge all cars" Tesla charger (Kingsley Village, Cornwall). Plugged in, tapped a card which it accepted . Nothing. No charge, just sat there. Is it me, the charger or the car? 🤔 (I originally posted this on a different thread but this seems more appropriate)

My tesla app says there are three open chargers in Cornwall.
They call them Camborne, Penhale & Lifton.
I've only ever used the Tesla app, not card. Since getting the software update to allow Tesla charging, I haven't had a problem. Always worked.
Is there a way of trying one of these three without using the charge card, but purely through the app to rule this out?

Btw i just looked and they call Kingsley Village 'Penhale'

I assume you aren't talking about Tesla Superchargers (the subject of this thread) but destination chargers?

Tesla don't call these by name.

No, I'm talking about Tesla superchargers that are open to other non-tesla cars.
If you open the Tesla app. Look at the map & click on one, the name of where they are comes up.

In that case I don't know what you mean.

The registration process is simply to register a payment card with the application. You do that once.

Every time you visit a charger, you select the post number in the app you connected your car to and it starts charging. In order to do your test it is going to take a bit of money but not a lot. What's your aversion to being charged?

Sorry, I feel there is a miscommunication here.
Perhaps it was meant for 'BeardedZs'??

I have used and happy to use Tesla superchargers. I have no problem at all.
'BeardedZs' presented his problem and I suggested some possible ways to try to solve it.
One of them could be a possible confusion because Tesla often use thier own place name to identify where the chargers are on a map. Which can be different to the names Google maps etc use.

Eg Tesla app states 'Trentham, UK', whereas Google maps states the same chargers as 'Tesla Supercharger, Stoke-on-Trent' with an address of 'Unnamed Road, Stone Rd, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 8NF' (near Trentham gardens).

Hope this clarifies what I meant?

To BeardedZs... Have you managed to try another Tesla charger yet?

Sounds like a SuperCharger V4 tap-to-pay scenario. The car usually reports the status - either plugged-in, a fault or charging.
