Nah - it would be a bit hit n miss to only start pulling a vacuum to work the brakes once you initiated your emergency stop ! ??Any fuse that blows without a known reason is always a worry, but sometimes the fuse itself is faulty. Does the software use the signal from the brake switch to initiate the vacuum system?
The only connection is the brakes are assisted by a vacuum generated on EVs by a pump ??I was meaning at start up. The forum member associated the brake pedal switch with the failure of the vacuum system.
Yes once it's "on" ??I'm sure it will work in a closed loop cycle so the vacuum is continuously monitored and the pump started/stopped as necessary.
