Waiting on my MG4 Trophy

Good evening all,

I'm waiting on delivery of a brand new Trophy, so thought I would join the forum and start to see what people think of it.

What are your thoughts on this car? What should I look out for? Anything that upsets you, and what excites you?

I have done a lot of research on the car, but as it's my first EV, I thought I'd ask the experts!

Thanks in advance, and I expect to be on here quite a lot, once my car is delivered... in Holborn Blue!!

Pretty excited, as it's the first time I'll have had a new car, and it's EV as well.

Same for me - trophy extended range in blue, first EV and first time I bought a new car. I'm based in Italy and got a good incentive to trade iny old Euro4 car. Should arrive in September

Me too, Trophy in red, ordered on the weekend, told I could expect it in about two weeks. Super excited.

How long of a wait did they give you from order day @mg4eritalia , @MangoQPR ?

And I ordered mine at the weekend. Also a Trophy ER in Holborn Blue. Was given an estimate of 2 week.

I've not been given a date yet. Waiting on the order to go through. Fingers crossed it'll be 2 weeks or so

Be interested to hear who gets their car first, I'm hoping the two weeks is accurate and not just them paying lip service.

It's a great car let down by poor software. The software is improving but at a much slower pace than I would have hoped. Support from MG and the dealers isn't great but there are some good dealers out there. Still not really any better value propositions out there.

Another smurf blue Trophy Extended here. We had to wait five months for ours which eventually came in Feb '24. It's an NHS leased vehicle which may explain the delay. Happily, we have had none of the issues many others have reported and we are happy with it, so far. TBH we stay well away from the MG App and charging is handled by our Ohme Home Pro on Octopus Intelligent Go. We've actually seen our electricity cost reduce and our petrol bill plummet. We would definitely do this again.

I've been told my car is on the way to the dealer, so just waiting for them to contact me.

It's a lease, so no idea how long it'll take, to be honest.

The excitement is building though ??

Couldn't stand the wait anymore, I called up my dealer today but both my sales person and manger were out so no updates until they're back ?

Update: dealership have been in touch, this afternoon, to ask about delivery dates.

Gonna be a week or so, but just waiting on confirmation!

Dealership have confirmed car is with them and I'm picking up on Sunday.
