Try searching "leaking tailgate" or "water in boot lid", I think??
Keep us updated with the findings pleaseI have to say thanks to this forum - I have the same boot water problem and will be booking it in tomorrow. I have removed most of the water before it does any damage, but it pretty soaked in there.

Not good to need a track rod. What mileage have you done? EVs are notoriously hard on suspension components.Mine is still moist. Took it for a service at 10k miles today and mentioned it - first gen SE with rear privacy glass. They think there is a service bulletin about it and a parts kit to order in (sealant of some sort). Does anybody have access to check?
They reckon it’s a 2 day job to let it cure and to top it off I need a new NSF track rod as it’s knocking (they say under warranty but I’ll believe it when I see it) Urgh.
10K but it’s been rattling for at least 3k miles. Not good to need a track rod. What mileage have you done? EVs are notoriously hard on suspension components.
Dropped in today as they said the sealant arrived on Wed (along with the TRE). I’m pretty sure it is as people have said vents under the rear bumper - I’ll do some asking when I pick it up next Saturday. Until then I’m back to dinosaur juice in my other car. Left it a week as I started a new job last Monday and they reckon it’s at least two days as they wait for it to cure. Plus the dealer is a bit out of the way.10K but it’s been rattling for at least 3k miles.
There was a guy in Germany who had one fail early on as I recall. I’m fairly certain the initial batch of cars had some occasional duff ones on.
can you pls share the bulletin on how to fix the issue coz mine is also having the same issueCar is back and I was nosing at the paperwork on the desk. There is a bulletin with the instructions on how to fix, I saw a picture on there of how to strip down - the car in the pic was white. Bumper off job.
TRE changed under warranty (but there was a slight hiccup steering wheel was off centre ergo tracking was out - should have said something but getting it in again and burning dino juice for a week I paid someone local to track it). Annnnnnnnnd I have the temperature display whooop - with the new head unit sw.
Let’s see how the rain goes.
Sorry it was in their bundle of paperwork, I wasn’t given anything. It does exist though. Looks to be a bumper off job and a specific sealant for the fix.can you pls share the bulletin on how to fix the issue coz mine is also having the same issue
It's funny how the threat of taking the car to a garage cures those intermittent problems.I booked mine in to be checked at tomorrow's service and MOT . I'd noticed that it was not so bad lately and checked it today and it was bone dry even after all the rain we've had lately ... ain't that typical.
