I had a pecking order worked out in case it was "take what is in stock or miss out on the special price".
7, Black - looks great on most cars, but only for about half an hour after they're cleaned.
6. Orange - don't hate it, but not overly keen, either. I can see why some like it, though.
5. Red - looks nice, but I have something like this on my Focus, It's a b&^'d to fix stone chips and scratches because of the soft paint and tinted clear coat. I expect the MG red would have the same problem.
4. White - looks OK but safe. It's the only "free" colour here, and a lot of people pick white on their cars, regardless.
3. Silver - again looks OK. A slightly fancier version of white.
2 Grey - I actually wanted this one initially, looks very classy. But I think of how often I find myself taking a fraction of second longer to pick up cars of this colour in dark or rainy conditions, so it's relegated to second.
1. Blue - a fairly bold choice, and not for everyone. Good visibility, easy to see on the road, easy to find in a carpark. Probably won't be good for resale, but I think that's going to be dicey anyway, with the drastic price chop, and likely newer and better alternatives in the EV world in the next few years. Should be easier to repair/touch up than the metallics.
I don't mind any of the colours, to be honest. MG should be congratulated for not going down the route of having white and six versions of grey.
