How about renaming the poll colors with generic description instead of the pedantic marketing names that are different given the regions ?

white, black, metallic red, metallic light gray, light blue, orange, metallic dark gray, matte green

Plus that would have the advantage of allowing people to understand that the "Camden" grey is not the light metallic gray and that it is missing from the poll.

Mine is metallic light gray, so I cannot answer the poll.

Yep, but you live in France, that doesn't count. 😉🙂 Seriously though, just vote for Grey. 🙂👍

I had a pecking order worked out in case it was "take what is in stock or miss out on the special price".

7, Black - looks great on most cars, but only for about half an hour after they're cleaned.

6. Orange - don't hate it, but not overly keen, either. I can see why some like it, though.

5. Red - looks nice, but I have something like this on my Focus, It's a b&^'d to fix stone chips and scratches because of the soft paint and tinted clear coat. I expect the MG red would have the same problem.

4. White - looks OK but safe. It's the only "free" colour here, and a lot of people pick white on their cars, regardless.

3. Silver - again looks OK. A slightly fancier version of white.

2 Grey - I actually wanted this one initially, looks very classy. But I think of how often I find myself taking a fraction of second longer to pick up cars of this colour in dark or rainy conditions, so it's relegated to second.

1. Blue - a fairly bold choice, and not for everyone. Good visibility, easy to see on the road, easy to find in a carpark. Probably won't be good for resale, but I think that's going to be dicey anyway, with the drastic price chop, and likely newer and better alternatives in the EV world in the next few years. Should be easier to repair/touch up than the metallics.

I don't mind any of the colours, to be honest. MG should be congratulated for not going down the route of having white and six versions of grey.

I had a new Octavia in 2002 and silver was the colour to have at that time, but I think it looks dated these days. A bit like Leyland's chocolate brown from the 70s....

I think today's greys (especially the battleship shades) will be seen as awfully outmoded in a decade or two.

Metallic greys and silvers never go out of date and are typically much easier to sell on used. The Camden Grey is very similar to my old BMW 330D Space Grey, wonderful colour.

Yep, certain colours are certainly easier, to sell, always have been. Not sure wether Orange is one of them. Personally I don't give a shite. It just had to be Orange. 🙂👍

Had originally ordered in Camden Grey but the dealer said they couldn't do it, so ordered the black. Being delivered next week :)

I have a confession now. Despite all I have said, I did think the car looks very well wearing the grey and fancied it, but was overruled by the Chief Obergruppenführer.....

When initially looking for an MG4 I fell in love with the red, in fact I found a red Trophy that I fell in love with but unfortunately (due a mix up on the dealers end) got sold before I could look at it.

Anyway, ended up with a black one which was not my first or probably second choice on colour, but it does look rather nice especially when clean!

I chose Orange so people could see me if i pulled out in front of somebody, however people don't seem to see me and pull out in front of me

Obviously a lot of colour blindness, where you live. 😉🙂👍

Na, they're looking for cyclists to destroy, and the most successful method by far is to go through green lights judging by local press reports, its become a weekly event

If I really had my way with getting the X-Power then I would've gone Orange but wife and salesman said no to X-power, so looking around the yard I thought Orange on the Trophy but Wife said No, so I kind of wanted Black but the one in the yard showed all the water drips and dirt so I said no, then I say the Red and said Yes!!!!
On a side note, my first midget (1975) was Damask Red, my 1980 midget was Tahiti Blue, and my 1979 Sport Fiesta was resprayed luminous Yellow which was great at night
