I've never thought about having them on the car, but with the poor HVAC performance and possible need to restrict the AC usage and open up the these might need to be an essential accessory in the aussie heat.

Do people recommend them?

Are there slim ones available?

Any decent after market ones to consider? (MG dealer quoted AUD$125 for them).

Any photos showing them would be appreciated too. Bonus points on a white ZS too ;)

Also do they assist with eliminating/reducing the air thumping/drumming when windows are down?

I can't give any help on the weathershields (but am keen to see if anyone has a good experience) but can offer my solution after 3 months in northern NSW heat.

Like you, I found windows down to be not ideal but have found the sunroof open just to tilt is great for helping air flow without much drag. I have the HVAC set to external circulation with AC off and the fan at 3 or 4 with face and feet vents on.

Very little noise, filtered air and minimal battery use compared to full AC, with just the occasional boost with AC for a minute if needed.

UK company sell these and I'm sure guys on here have recommended them. Also on Ebay in uk so assume available in Australia.
