Hi all, I'm struggling with a neck injury and finding it difficult in seeing oncoming traffic from the drivers side. Pretty sure an enhanced mirror mod would help, any ideas? Obv's something that fits my 21 MG Ev Es
Yes, always assumed I would have to 'add' something on. Just ordered a set of cheap Beewave blind spot mirrors, with many excellent reviews, evidently they stick on the existing mirror, shall try them first before going more elaborate, thanks for the replyI think that extending the existing mirrors is difficult, because of the shroud, the blind spot warning (which is really handy), and the fact that the mirrors fold (at least mine does, I don't know the UK models).
So some separate mirror, perhaps as used when towing caravans, seems like the better option.
Yes, that sounds interesting, thanksIf you want to go fancy, you could also have an aftermarket "blind spot" camera system added.
Think, small camera and additional screen that shows the camera feed and then just point the camera in the direction you have problems seeing. Camera might even possibly be mounted on the roof rackmount somewhere and then run wires inside the car to the screen.
