Hi all, I'm struggling with a neck injury and finding it difficult in seeing oncoming traffic from the drivers side. Pretty sure an enhanced mirror mod would help, any ideas? Obv's something that fits my 21 MG Ev Es

Sorry i might just be daft or misunderstand, but wouldn't oncoming traffic, seem from the drivers side, be more or less right in your view if looking ahead ?

I am guessing neck injury means you are unable to turn your head in some way, so assuming you mean seeing traffic to your side for example when doing a lanechange on the motorway, maybe one of those caravan mirrors could be adapted and adjusted to show more of the "blind spot" there. ?

Sorry, I should have mentioned 'at junctions' especially obtuse junctions, I cannot twist far enough to see oncoming traffic from the right

I think that extending the existing mirrors is difficult, because of the shroud, the blind spot warning (which is really handy), and the fact that the mirrors fold (at least mine does, I don't know the UK models).

So some separate mirror, perhaps as used when towing caravans, seems like the better option.

Yes, always assumed I would have to 'add' something on. Just ordered a set of cheap Beewave blind spot mirrors, with many excellent reviews, evidently they stick on the existing mirror, shall try them first before going more elaborate, thanks for the reply

If you want to go fancy, you could also have an aftermarket "blind spot" camera system added.

Think, small camera and additional screen that shows the camera feed and then just point the camera in the direction you have problems seeing. Camera might even possibly be mounted on the roof rackmount somewhere and then run wires inside the car to the screen.

Yes, that sounds interesting, thanks
