Have used this 2 in 1 CarPlay & Android Auto Wireless adapter with YouTube and Netflix access for my ZS EV and it works really well.

After turning on the car the adapter starts itself (no unplug/plug of USB needed) and takes you straight into wireless Android Auto by default. It also does this quickly and reliably within just a few seconds.
From here you can either use this as normal or exit AA to get to other Adapter options including Netflix and YouTube. You can of course also exit the Adapter screen to get back to standard infotainment options and the bonus is your phones bluetooth connection to the adaptor still works.
A fuller explanation of how this was setup -
Use of Carplay Box wireless Android Auto and Netflix / YouTube access on MG ZS EV
By default ZS EV like most cars can only use a wired connection from the phone to the car to enable Apple Carplay (different to Carplay Box) or Android Auto but following shows how this does work wirelessly -
1. Phone in pocket (previously setup with Carplay Box) - default
2. Carplay Box plugged into media usb-a port - default
3. Switching on car should a) go to normal infotainment screen b) startup of 'HI-BOX' (Carplay) should then be automatic c) startup of Android Auto may also then continue or will be left at Carplay front end.
4. NB Use of wireless HI-BOX & Android Auto sets up an automatic WiFi connection between the box (Wi-Fi hotspot) and my phone called AndroidAP_5776. DO NOT substitute this WiFi connection for another as breaks Android Auto. NNB Appears Android Auto must use phone data for Internet comms
5. Exception to 4. above. To use Netflix & YouTube on HI-BOX a) start cars own WiFi Hot-spot (ZSEV-BT/HS) via quick menu (* on steering wheel) b) change HI-BOX WiFi to ZSEV-BT/HS. c) this should then allow use of Netflix & YouTube
