Every vehicle I've had in the past has come with a service book, mainly all duly stamped, dated and mileage recorded at each service time. To me, it's an indication of the previous owners' care for the vehicle. The printed service book lists the service intervals along with a checklist of the service involved.
With my new MG3 Hybrid, there's no such stampable service book. So in years to come I'll have to tell any prospective buyer "Sorry no hard-backed service book history is available for this car! Whoa! I wonder what they'll think of that?
I feel as though it is a case of - Here's your car now go and get on with it, as I float off into the distance!
Does anyone else have any feelings about this lack of documentation?
