Yellow battery gauge

Strange how nobody seems to know the answer. You'd have thought somebody would have sussed it by now or had it explained to them by their dealer but... ?

Presumably not something that has been seen before on other MG models.

Someone has suggested it signifies VTL
But AFAIK that wasn’t switched on and the car was moving, so surely VTL doesn’t work when the car is moving?

Can anyone advise why the battery level display has gone yellow instead of green?

I wonder if it could be something to do with Regen? Below 90% regen should start working fully again

The photo I saw on the other forum, the car had a much lower SoC

I wonder if it's indicating that battery pre-conditioning can be used if required?

Green shows that the battery pack is already at a temp where pre-con is not possible?

Again, just guessing. I don't even have a car....

It would be odd if it was that, as it was a mild day.
There have been much colder days up here recently and always green.
MG aren’t answering my tweets….

That’s what I thought. I also thought that they did not engage on social media re problems. Perhaps they do now….

I must say, of all the issues with the MG4, this is not the highest concern for me, but my curiosity is getting the better of me!
