Interesting Article on the pre-production MG4 after a test drive in Rome MG4 Preview | Electrifying.
I hope they right, but it’s all a bit of guess work for me so I will just await for the official price to be announced then decide to look or try it or not to, I have registered an interest in it with a few dealers around and with MG. Trouble with this this is nobody knows how good it is until you can see one for real or at lease a good test drive report.Interesting Article on the pre-production MG4 after a test drive in Rome MG4 Preview | Electrifying.
Hi Jomarkh he did, but I think he was talking about the new 5 that we in the UK have not seen yet in RHD form as yet, but he did a test on one in Germany a little while back.I watched the Marvel R test this morning, I cant believe he said the Infotainment in the 5 was better.
Plus VAT no doubt.I have got the credit card in front of me for my deposit if it is truly c£26k
Of course but at least now without the subsidy, there is no distortion of the EV Car market we should see a greater spread of new EV pricing and so new entrants at more price-points to be competitive.Plus VAT no doubt.
It won't be plus VAT otherwise that would be over 30k for the base model when the Triphy longer range is just over 30k. Inc VATPlus VAT no doubt.
Over on the "First UK dealer hands on photos and specifications" thread, there's a screengrab from Facebook, where a dealer confirms "less than £26k" for the base modelTwo interesting quotes:
- Despite being a physically smaller car than the MG5 estate, the 4 feels the more spacious of the two
- With the facelifted MG5 having recently moved out of the £25k-£30k price bracket (prices start at just over £30,000), the prospect of the MG4 landing with a price tag of around £26,000 looks to be a realistic one
Anyone who would choose an ICE Astra over an MG4 for the same money is either oblivious to how good EV's actually are, or a blithering idiot! Was reading a review of the new Astra. Which is £26k for a mid range ICE. So a £26k starting for a BEV of same size with reasonable range is incredible.
From the website spec matrix. Volcano Orange only available on Trophy LRSays in the spec blue is extra so not sure which one is a mistake.... I think it'll be only white which is included
Still no confirmation of this from MG, let alone a limit. We need a tow bar on the second car, and this will be the first smaller, sensibly priced EV that can tow!
For some reason I thought I'd seen this confirmed somewhere, but maybe not. It'll be a shame if it can't tow as we'll not be able to buy one thenStill no confirmation of this from MG, let alone a limit.
Says on here its 1500kg, but others say noFor some reason I thought I'd seen this confirmed somewhere, but maybe not. It'll be a shame if it can't tow as we'll not be able to buy one then![]()
