Delay on mg zs is now 12 months, i ordered april 2022 and my dealers still havent a clue when its arriving but have said hopefully within the next month ….. sorry…..

Hi Lillian , this was out first ZS EV Exclusive which we currently have we received 29th September 2021. We then ordered our second ZS EV TC LR on the 13/01/22and finally nearly 16 months later got the much awaited phone call to say Our ZS EV TC LR is in the Uk ...ETA 21/03/23

Car collected today. I’m all good, crossed lines with dealer in that any new Trophy orders placed now or after last July will not get the “Connect” part, but mine ordered February 22 I have Sunroof, Tinted Windows, LR TC so all present and correct.? I’ve attached a picture here to “keep the faith” for all who are still waiting for their MG ZS that it is well worth the wait.

CONGRULATIONS We got our much awaited 16 month long , finally got the phone our ZS EV TC LR in uk , eta to collect 23/03/23. Same as we ordered January 2022 , still has all the TC specs ..... love our sunroof in our current White ZS EV Exclusive which we are trading in

I've just had the message that one of the two we ordered has landed at the dealership. I've booked in collection of the Blue LR TC for the 18th March.

We're still waiting on the Red LR TC to arrive with the dealership, but it did arrive to Portbury at the same time. Ordered a week apart.

Hi guys, just had a call from the dealership ? they did mention about having to re calculate the payments because of the interest rate hike, what are peoples experience with that?
Also has anyone had a remote delivery? They said I might be able to do it over the phone otherwise I'd have to go into the dealership

Long range Trophy. I checked my phone records and it's almost exactly a year since my first call to the dealership to order. But I've got my delivery date and finances all sorted so I'm excited

Our Blue one is real! Chose the reg number today and saw it in the flesh! Picking it up next Saturday. Meanwhile the second one for my wife is booked for transport.

Came in on the Grand Victory and has the tinted rear windows that weren't on the spec when we ordered as well as the sunroof.

Our Blue one is real! Chose the reg number today and saw it in the flesh! Picking it up next Saturday. Meanwhile the second one for my wife is booked for transport.

Would probably be another 3 months, that's how far past our order date it's been for us. Not sure how it is outside the UK..

For us it looks like the ship docked near enough on the order anniversary but transporters seem to be few and far between.

Still awaiting the red one to be moved a few miles from the port to dealer (quite local to Avonmouth!) So it's a little odd that they've taken over 8 weeks to move it.

EU seems to be the same as the UK. 10-15 months-ish.

With regard to getting the cars transported, they come in to Zeebrugge (I understand) and then have to be driven to everywhere else in Europe - so even when it does arrive it's still got around 2,000 KM by road to go! ?

I'm working on a 15 months expectation now as well - so June - we'll hopefully at least have some news by then.

The crazy thing is that loads of other cars have been announced since we ordered, and we may have chosen differently if those options were available then - there's even second hand cars that are worth considering now, which is the way I would normally go - I'm not a new car person, it's just a year ago there wasn't anything on the second hand market that had the range I wanted. Hey ho - I just hope we don't get a Friday afternoon car after all this!

....But the LRTC is here! Arrived 10th February, dealer got it a few weeks later:

It has the sky roof as expected, but also included the rear privacy glass that was not a part of the spec at the time it was ordered in November.

Interesting to note that it has manufacturing date of 31/10/2022 on the Certificate of Conformity. At that time my order was showing as 'Shortage Awaiting Build', so don't lose hope yet that you'll receive yours!

Now I've got to find a new avatar.

Having the privacy glass has been a real bonus for those recently taking delivery of their cars, and a bit of compensation for a long wait.
When I had my windows done, the chap from Global Tints said they had done loads of MG’s.
Visually, it’s a great improvement I feel, and will hopefully prove beneficial in the summer heat.

It definitely makes a difference to the look! I will have the two fronts done though.

Looks good - make sure LKA and dead reckoning are turned off for a smooth trip home.
Bought my TCLR from this dealer back in Sept 2022 and very happy with it.

Thanks for the tip! I did dead reckoning, but not that setting where it hollers at you every darn time you drive close to lane markings. It was driving me nuts in town where you frequently have to be near the centre of the road. Near two hours of vibrating steering wheel and beeping!!

16th Janauary:

Ordered my LR Trophy Connect in silver through Tusker salary sacrifice scheme in the middle of July. Was told 40 weeks lead time (that would take it to early April 2023).
For months status of the order on the Tusker website was "awaiting build slot" with an expected delivery to the dealer "early January 2023".

That has changed now to "released from factory" and estimated delivery to dealer "late February 2023".

That actually sounds encouraging. Not getting too excited though... We shall see what happens.

This will be likely "no sunroof" version.

2nd February:

Contacted Luscombe's Leeds who is fulfilling my Tusker order. The car has arrived in the UK. Should be with them in a couple of weeks. Expected delivery to me end of February.

Silver MG ZS EV LR Trophy Connect. Ordered in the middle of July.

Exciting!

Plot twist:
Had a call from the dealer two weeks ago. Bad news: no car. Good news: if I would be willing to change the colour there are red and blue available.

It took 2 days to amend the Tusker order (dealer dealt with it for me).

My silver red LRTC got to me to today.

36 weeks (8 months) wait time from order to delivery. Much quicker then some other people on this forum. Possibly Tusker placing order earlier and then just assigning to customers?

All in all extremely happy with the outcome.
