Yes, guy dropped it off and talked me through some of the features....had 45% battery which was good as i had been told when they called me in the morning that MG tend to only charge them to 25%

I suspect that they are charged to 50% at the factory (best for storage), and the cold and shipping time dropped that to 45%. So maybe you're praising them for doing a fat nothing ?

Yes that could be true but the guy who dropped off the car said they popped some charge on it...unless he said it to make them sound good haha

either way, was done to 29% last night, stuck it on granny charge overnight and its now at 70% after 13 hours...happy with that!

And granny has been tested to boot. You never want her to fail you just when you most need her.

How incredibly sad is it that number plates with the wrong number are being fitted and deliveries are being delayed because someone is simply ticking boxes on the PDI instead of actually doing the job of checking.
This isn't exclusive to MG, not by a long chalk, just sad that easily avoidable mistakes are being overlooked due to incompetence.

I'm holding out until they offer a light coloured interior and a panoramic roof, not that much of a stretch when you consider both already exist.

Yes a seemingly easy mistake to make but you'd have thought they do this many times per month. I did get the new correct plates thru the post 2 days later and changed them myself, so all good there. Now just waiting until 12th Dec for my visit to MG to see what they can hopefully find for the steering vibration issue.

Its arrived, total surprise. Door bell rings and guy says I have a car for you, no phone call so all the better for it ?
I asked about steering vibrations and he confirmed it has them, will check myself shortly. Those covers have to go!

I asked about steering vibrations and he confirmed it has them, will check myself shortly. Those covers have to go!

Just had a quick blast, avoiding 20mph roads! Goes well and Im impressed with build quality and kit etc, just as good as the latest Audi A3 I had in 2021.
It does have the vibration but only slight, its something I can live with until fix sorted. Tyre pressures all over the place as usual so will sort those out.

On collection mine were set to the settings for carrying extra passengers and luggage. It made the rear very happy to slide around and it actually caught me off-guard the first time (the old 'dab of oppo' was needed). Dropping them to the normal setting did improve things.

Thank you, yes will be able to contribute, but as your aware not always sensibly ?
Although its now tucked up in the garage as we are away for a week in Yorkshire from tomorrow.
EV6 now not being collected until the 11th so decided to keep using until then, plus range is better at this time of year.
However this afternoon will be spent going through settings etc, already fitted the mats and will look to put on screen protectors and cables.
