Tusker aren't great about updates, my current car goes back in May but I ordered a replacement on their suggestion due to lead times. They asked me if I'd mind getting it sooner with a fee free early termination which I obviously said yes to. Found out this morning that they haven't even set it to order.

Dana said lead times are quite short in response to my email this morning.

@Mrugesh I think I was less than 10 weeks from ordered to on a forecourt (although can't get out of current lease for all sorts of annoying reasons so can't get hands on it until February). Grey all the wey!

Well great news according to an email from Lex, Im getting a second X Power delivered tomorrow! I hope not because Im away on holiday ? I dont know what they are playing at, but will be interesting to see if I get a phone call

I must be in the minority as I don't mind the caliper covers. As it's a Tusker car I'm not gonna mess about and get them removed. I think they go well with #teamblack and give a slight clue that it's a sleeper.

Had loads of double takes and one bloke pulled out his phone and took a piccie the other day as I went by!

Not had anyone photograph yet but had a few looked whilst I was in Asda carpark yet....had some compliments on the colour (#TeamGreen) from the neighbours too

First thing I did.
Although as @Brettus has pointed out to me, my badge cover makes the "MG" look a bit portly. ?
And to be honest, I have to agree with him.?

He was braver than me and painted his.

The result is much better IMO.
I do have the plastidip ready, and will paint the badge at some point soon.

That’s a shame. Hopefully I get similar time frame. Seems like we might be getting hands on it around same time ?

@stuart2k - Yeah when I called them they said we will update on portal when they place order. No update so far. Will chase them again if nothing is updated in next 48 hours.

Morning everyone, new lease order placed here last Friday (1st Dec) - via Arnold Clark. Team Grey.

Currently suggesting Jan delivery which works perfectly for me, but given that some seem to be coming through quicker I do wonder if it might be before Christmas.. who knows!

Current plan, plastidip front badge, air intake fins, possible plastidip rear MG4 and Electric badges. Might leave calliper covers alone to start with. Will also need to sort LED interior lights and LED rear indicator bulbs too.

Do these come with floor mats?

Anyone found any decent interior cubby/door pocket inserts to stop rattles?

Yes, guy dropped it off and talked me through some of the features....had 45% battery which was good as i had been told when they called me in the morning that MG tend to only charge them to 25%

Mine was charged to 80% by the dealer !

On collection mine were set to the settings for carrying extra passengers and luggage. It made the rear very happy to slide around and it actually caught me off-guard the first time (the old 'dab of oppo' was needed). Dropping them to the normal setting did improve things.

Yes, first year depreciation is huge with most cars, I would have thought prices are likely to stabilise - there are apparently few people buying new at the moment due to interest rates and cost of living, it is fleet purchases keeping things going.
