How do you find out if its got the Tesla upgrade please.

Ask the dealer you got it from. You may have to take it in for them to check but it is a free upgrade for face-lift models, like yours.

If you check the app as a non Tesla driver it will only show the open to all ones. Then try one out just on a short charge. If it doesn't work take the car to your dealer.

I'm fairly confident in saying that the dealer won't know. They may even claim that they don't know what you are talking about. The only way to check it to try it at an open Tesla site (the Tesla app won't show you closed sites if you don't have a Tesla). If it doesn't work then get back to your dealer quickly. Some dealers will try and charge for the update. If you threaten to return the car as not fit for purpose then they will probably change their mind. ( I see you are in Wakefield - the Tesla chargers in Leeds were open chargers the last time I was there.)

Dealer confirmed it needs a software update tried it on by saying it would be £80 after me laying the law down it goes in week on friday for a FREE software update been having a bit of a issue with Carplay connecting every time so they going to do a update on that.
