MG4 X Power Vibe/Hum 65 to 75mph

Oh my lord, I've just read through this entire thread, and I see you guys have been suffering this problem for quite some time, I can't wait till tomorrow to see if I experience this for myself.

Are you just out on a jolly m8?

If you get up to the speeds required and the car doesn't have any vibes could you take a picture of the sticker under the rear parcel shelf please, or just take a mental note of the build date?

A Jolly.
A bit of fun.

Just wondering why?

I thought you'd not long bought an MG3?
No this isn't a bit of fun, I intend to buy this XPower tomorrow if it's ok. I bought the MG3 Hybrid because I wasn't sure about going full electric, but now after gelling with the electric element of the MG3, I'm ready to go full electric. Yes I only bought the MG3 about 3 months ago, I'll be hoping to part exchange it for the MG4.

Spot on!

Prepare to be staggered!!!

I had my test drive unaccompanied, I hope you insist on the same.

Nothing worse than the bloody salesman wittering in your ear.

Don't worry about launch control, but do try a full "Accelerater Deployment" away from the lights or similar.
(Where conditions allow)

Normal mode will be just fine!
Engage Sport by all means, but as you will see yourself, this can be a mind bendingly quick car.

You will also see just how civilized it can be.

Might seem a bit stiffer after your 3, but perfectly well judged for UK roads in my opinion.

Really looking forward to hearing how you get along. 👍

All good advice, but I had to try launch control! If you floor it in normal, you'll be wowed. Floor it in sport, and you'll be astounded. Despite that, XPowers are very controllable and civilised. Unless you don't want them to be. 😎

All this talk of characteristic vs fault. I agree with MG, it is a characteristic no doubt about that. But MG need to realise that it is also a fault (since technically the definition of a fault is an undesirable characteristic). If they question the undesirable bit then perhaps it should be advertised.

It is not a characteristic of a high powered awd EV as no other brands suffer, it is a design fault, engineering fault, part fault , call it what you like fault but a thats what it is, it is abnormal.
To insult someones intelligence to tell them it is because of high power demand like an ICE would do, is a bloody disgrace, notwithstanding the fact that during high power demand outside that speed range the car is fine.

This is the sticker under the parcel shelf, to be honest, it tells me nothing?
