MG Announces Key Updates for the 2024 MG4 Line-up
MG has released a dealer bulletin highlighting key upgrades and changes for the 2024 model year (MY24) MG4 compared to the outgoing 2023 model (MY23). Here's a summary of what's new:
Upgrades for the SE Model
- The SE now includes Sat Nav, a rear camera, and the active grille for the SE Standard Range (SR) variant.
Changes to Trophy and XPower Models
- The following features have been removed:
- Bluetooth Key
- Auto-dimming rear-view mirror
- One-touch up and down windows for all doors (now limited to one-touch down for all, and one-touch up and down only for the driver’s window).
Battery and Range Adjustments
- SE SR: Battery capacity reduced from 51kWh to 49kWh, but range remains unchanged.
- Other variants retain the same battery sizes but receive slight WLTP range increases:
- SE Long Range (LR): 288 miles (up from 281).
- Trophy LR: 279 miles (up from 270).
- Trophy Extended Range (ER): 329 miles (up from 323).
- XPower: 245 miles (up from 239).
Availability
These updates reflect MG's ongoing efforts to refine the MG4 line-up while balancing features, performance, and affordability.
- All MY24 models will arrive within the coming weeks, except for the Trophy LR, which will launch after the remaining MY23 stock is sold.
