EV insured in the event of a claim

Ive done 16000 miles in 21 months with pretty early R13 software (and 21 month old software in all sub modules) in a LR SE.

Though LKA can be a pain, especially on country roads, at no time has the relatively moderate pulling action on the wheel made me feel i would lose control. I have settings on defaults which isn’t maximum interference. I feel im possibly adapting to it as its not as problematic as when i first owned the car.

However, the car has on two situations performed an Estop when it thought i was driving into traffic performing a right hand turn.

Then there was the one time on the M1 when it decided it needed to slow down a lot on ACC when it saw a lorry i was overtaking in the left lane when i was in the middle

These are unpredictable events when the occasional tweak through the wheel is much easier to control

Im going to present a list of complaints to force an update at next service in march

Worth having another dealer check what updates have been applied. There are various updates for this over the years and some made bigger difference than others. However, we have never seen the "definitive fix" that was promised along with corresponding owner letter that MG committed to about 5 months ago as "coming soon".

That suggests that there is still another update to be released into the system.

I need to look into the settings as I have not adjusted any , it was just how it came back from the dealer
Hmmm.... it seems most odd to me that you have created a whole series (7 videos) of negative YouTube "content" about MG and their dealers and yet you say "you need to look into the settings".

Doesn't add up in my mind. Why create all that "content" without having spent 15 minutes to configure your vehicle to suit yourselves?

Having TJA on (vs ACC) is very obvious on the driver screen - you can see the steering wheel symbol at the top-left. (Can't see in the video though because the camera placement means that part of the screen is blocked by the physical steering wheel). The way the wheel is twitching though does say to me that TJA is active.

It's not all about the settings is it? It's about the finance company, my bank the dealer and MG worming out of their responsibilities and abusing the legislation, consumers rights and the law.
If you want to support that behaviour go ahead , you obviously have issues with me standing up for what's right

For info, your profile shows as an MG4 SE SR. ;)
I will check the profile thankyou.
I'm not trying to deliberately upset MG owners, the treatment I've had since parting with £27k deserves to be highlighted, there is a culture of persuade the customer there's either nothing wrong with the car or they've fixed it and I'm certain I'm not alone recognising this.
One example of this is the drive shaft noise on XPowers , ballachre claimed was shit in the under tray and they had fixed it, I'm not an engineer but I'm not a dummy either, car had less than 800 miles on it at the time.
When they realised I wasn't falling for this the bull sh-- stepped up.
I would love to have more positive things to say but until all involved put things right I don't have.
Only reason I'd reject the car is to get one that doesn't have vibes and issues.
I thank you for your comments and this rant is not aimed at you, thanks Neil
