Now the MG4 has been out for perhaps 2-3 years in the UK it would be interesting to see who has the highest mileage Mg4 in the group, so if you think you have the highest mileage please post and share your experience of the car so far the good, the bad and the ugly :p

I'm not going to try and claim highest (32k miles on my November 22 SE SR) but would be interested in those who have hit the 80k mileage and so are out of warranty - are you going to carry on servicing this car every 15k miles? Tesla as an example don't have a service routine and I'm thinking it's not worth servicing the MG4 outside of the warranty.

32k miles does not seem very high, but thanks for posting - hopefully will get more owners posting their mileage and experience of the car so far.

Maybe that's the reason they are thinking about lifetime warranties?

In less than 2 years it is higher than most EV owners will achieve. ;)

Mine's just about to turn 7.5k miles, since 25-Nov-22. :)

Latest figures appear to show an average of 7300 miles per year, so over 4 times the average.

It would be good to know the battery SOC capacity at higher mileage, but this status is not available by default, but should be, at least on the iSmart App.
It should certainly not lose more than 5-10% at 100,000 miles. But with 7 year warranty, we are well covered.

In Australia they are now offering 10 year 250,000km warranty on all their MG cars

oh yes that is nearly 51,000kms - so interesting to see what issues Tight Git has had in all those miles of car ownership?

Touch wood - none to date, normally switch off LKA every journey but did leave it on when doing a 250 mile trip home after a red-eye flight into Heathrow (just in case!).

Sounding good ?. Have you tried putting it in tow mode. Stays on permanently so you don't have to switch lka off.every.damn.time. ?
You lose reversing sensors but get used to the size of the car again like 'the good ol' days ' .

Same for me. I dread the day they update the software at a service without asking me.
Mine has not been ok since I've had it. I think the latest updates have improved this greatly so its not really much of an issue for most I feel anymore.

My MG4 long range Trophy is currently on 47200 miles as I do long distance driving. The battery's capacity has gone down due to cold weather.

Any major problems, in that mileage? 🙂👍

I believe spence7788 is probably the highest mileage owner . As far as I know he has exceeded the 80k warranty limit. Perhaps he can confirm?
Sorry, just seen this as it’s the first time I’ve checked in for a while, my mileage since September is about half what I was doing previously so slowed down quite a bit, I’m on 96k now & still feels very solid, however I’ve just ended up buying an Xpower which I’m collecting Saturday😄 so not sure I’ll hit that 100k!
