Took Ginger to help with some bank holiday diy.

Bit worrying that the Lamborghini orange closely matches BQ orange lol

Technically the car is not rated in the UK for a roof bar. I believe it is in other countries so seems they could not be bothered getting it rated here.

It was the same with my MG5. My facelift was but the previous version wasn’t.

I asked my insurance company and they said it would not affect the insurance.

Not everyone realises cars are designed to be rolled and have the roof support the cars weight if it is upside down.

They are Summit SUP 064 roof bars. I got them for £90 from here.

Here are some pics after adjusting and mounting them. They clamp to the body just above the door. When the door is open you can see the hook. They are very secure and do not damage the body work.

So you really can't verify the source...
Also, as far that I know the MG4 (doesn't matter which version) doesn't have any pre-installed mounting points. So the Deepseek answer is false

:eek: Where do I put my snow skis? Maybe the same place as the snow this season ..... subject to availability ....... I'd hate to be dependent on making a yrs money in the ski seasons lately, it doesn't stay cold enough for long enough to run the snow making machines, the natural stuff is a very rare event these days and generally falls as rain, wrecking the man made stuff
