Has anyone used a Nissan Granny EVSE on an MG?

No. Won't the plug for the car be type 1 rather than type 2 ?

No, it is a Nissan type 2.

I thought it should but it has the green ready light but no power light.

That's annoying. Should work as if it didn't then type 2 charging in general wouldn't work. If you can, try it with a leaf and then another charger on your car, but best guess would be a faulty charger. Does your car have scheduled charging? If so is that on?

Let me own up.
I was given it as a dog had chewed the lead.
The earth, neutral and phase were ok but just found the CP wire was cut.

Hi i use a nissan granny charger on my zsev.My car had no charger.I purchased it second hand off ebay.Works fine
