Splendid Ace originated in Japan, so is probably loaded with Nissan, Toyota, Honda , , , etc, bound for international ports. Just guessing, but it might load on an equivalent number of other cars to what it has dropped off. I can't imagine any shipping company not wanting to maximise the use of its cargo space.

I agree- can I ask, what source do you use to track port movements? I always find that for the majority of sites there is a sub charge to pay.

I don't think Octopus are to blame - from what I gather, MG are terrible at communicating and it wasn't until I pestered them enough that the MG customer service team would actually give me an answer! Whereas from what I can tell, Octopus have been super transparent throughout the whole ordering process.

I recently had my ZS EV serviced by Holdcroft group.
whilst waiting I was talking to salesman about the wait for new vehicles and he showed me on his computer screen that a delivery is enroute and due early June

Silly question I'm sure, but when I ordered my ZSLR Trophy in black in January, they quoted Mid May as delivery. That has not changed since, but is there a chance it could be sooner? Or is this shipment in June likely? Really struggling with no car and just trying to mentally prepare. I don't want to get to May then be told Sept or something!

Unfortunately I think it’s optimistic. You might have gathered it’s all a bit of a guesstimate. I ordered a LR in Jan and have been told Sep (again, their guess). There’s others who are still awaiting delivery from Nov orders that (at least in theory) would be ahead of the queue.

Thanks guys. It's so difficult not knowing. Mine is through Tusker salary sacrifice, and both them and MG have stuck with May eta. It's just so frustrating!! Thinking about getting a stop gap car through them but it's extortionate.

Like you this is my First ever brand new car, and unfortunately it's not been a great experience.
My car has been pushed back four times since I ordered it I am beginning to wish I hadn't bothered

I just hope it's worth the angst. I had a Niro and absolutely loved it. Was talked into doing this by a family member and bit the bullet. Sold my car at the beginning of March as the prices were high, and since have dropped massively so happy with THAT part. But am sick of having no car, and no idea of when I'll have one. To top it off a family crisis has meant I am now needed as a taxi, more than before!!!

Come from Korea through suez then Spain then portbury so prob no mg on it . But brilliant picture nice to see portbury dock starting to fill back up with vehicles ?

Same here first time ordering a brand new car ? never though it would be this bad plus side all will be forgotten once it arrives 5 months wait already
