I did even more so when I had my MG5.Have you considered a frunk? I keep all my charging gear and V2L cable (not pictured) in the front, always accessible. It is worth upgrading to struts though, instead of the OE bonnet holder.

Aftermarket struts? Nah, the standard bonnet holder works just fine for me.So mention you have the struts when you order. Assuming you are also getting the aftermarket struts, which I would recommend. The frunk gets in the way a bit of the OE bonnet holder thingy. I undid one bolt to loosen it and wiggle it out, as it serves no purpose for me.
