    Range

That's pretty good, very similar to my Trophy LR. I too am also tempted to swap for the Power. The MG4 was bought for my wife, she hasn't even sat in the driver's seat in 9 months. Summer warmth is definitely better for economy, I was amazed to see the wrapping, the following piccy was...

What do you think is the cheapest feeling part of MG4

FOR ME the boot is heavy too open and close, ESPECIALLY for my wife, I'd definitely have paid extra to have an auto opening boot as an option, most parts are a tad on the cheap or flimsy side, but the price is good.

    Successful Tesla Charge!

I've used Tesla supercharger on several occasions whilst travelling away from home, it very useful, easy and a lot cheaper as you say. Not bothered signing up to their monthly programme as travelling further afield is not frequent enough, but we travel to Gatwick airport a few times a year...

Lane Assist Trying To Kill Me!

I took my 2016 4wd Hyundai Tucson out today to fill up with diesel for my wife, she won't drive the MG4, she's seen what it's like to set up every time we want to use it, it's a true pain. I switched on LKA with one button, it works beautifully, with just an audible warning, NO massive tug of...

Lane Assist Trying To Kill Me!

Definitely not intermittent on my MG4 trophy LR, it's always present and a rather dangerously jerky correction, it's the only thing I really dislike about the car, if I forget to disable it, it doesn't take many minutes to remind me. Another rare one is the emergency braking, out yesterday...

Lane Assist Trying To Kill Me!

It only landed in my inbox today, it's definitely a good leap forward, as I'm considering swapping to a different make after only 8 months, if I forget to disable it then the sudden pulling of the steering is still scary, we live in a remote area with narrow lanes LKA loves tugging at both sides...

Lane Assist Trying To Kill Me!

Has any one else seen this from Which today. "Which? car testing reveals serious concerns with MG4's lane assist technology Which? lab technicians report concerning behaviour caused by the popular family car's lane assistance and departure-warning technology During the course of testing the MG4...

    Touchscreen sluggish - software update?

I've also found a damp finger works much better, whilst driving I tend to rest my fingers on top of the screen and use my thumb to touch the screen, but a moist finger works better, as in so many other things ???

Can i use a Tesla charger on the motorway?

Yes some are allowing non Tesla use, we recently travelled to Cornwall and topped up using Tesla at Darts Farm near Exeter, excellent and cheaper than the other big players, There is plenty of info available, just needs a little input to find it.

Any EV advice for my first long trip?

Darts Farm deli and cafe are excellent, bought some of their own smoked bacon, it was exceptional. And cheaper charging.

Any EV advice for my first long trip?

Recenetly completed another long trip to Rock in Cornwall, 175 miles from home, could have done it in one, but wanted to use the Tesla Supercharge network, as wellas having something in reserve, a number are now allowing non Tesla ownwers to charge, I'd previously used Tesla on the M5, returning...

    Full Size Spare Wheel

I'd also like a spare wheel, I not concerned about matching the others, as it'll get changed back to being a spare as soon as possible. I bought a spare (space saver) for my Volvo C70 convertible, some years ago, thankfully never needed it.

Android Auto not working on my zs ev.

I had exactly the same problem, posted here for help, I found my problem was the USB cable. Try a new, good quality, needs to be one capable of data transfer read this on another non MG forum, it worked for me, I believe the cable failed with use. I'll try and remember to post the type of cable...

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

@Robf @Rolfe @Martinonline @AndyL61 Good morning guys, thanks so much for all your input, but I've cracked it HOORAA! I'm delighted to say there was nothing wrong with the car at all, after resetting the home screen as @Robf suggested and still no joy, I started to look at Android Auto (AKA...

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

I'm sure we'll get it sorted somehow Ralph, it's very frustrating when something disappears suddenly. That's why I asked the forum, but it doesn't seem to be a common problem as far as I can see. Thanks for your input Ralph. Perhaps someone else will come up with a solution. Cheers again...

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

Although I've been around computers and one of the first in the country to have a BT mobile phone the size of a suitcase in 1984, I'm still amazed at modern tech advancements, fantastic Rolfe. Not sure if you are following my chats with @Martinonline, but he has grasped my problem Rolfe.

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

Yes Martin, I think you've grasped perfectly my problem. Until a few weeks ago I had the Waze icon appear to the right of the home screen, so had a choice, but that has disappeared. Waze is still on my phone as normal and I've tried running Waze before I connect to AA, perhaps I should try...

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

Probably because Google owns Waze, well indirectly Rolfe, I'll try Google Maps on my 4 tomorrow and report back , it's such an oddity, because I was able to get Waze up, until recently.

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

Waze is superior to most regular sat nav systems in several areas and it's free. "Its a community-driven navigation app created by an Israeli company and acquired by Google in 2013. Waze uses real-time data from the app's users to provide the best route to the user's destination, taking into...

Bad satnav worse than no satnav

Not exactly Martin, I don't get the Waze icon to the right of the MG screen screen, which I once got. I can no longer get Waze (far nicer and more informative than MG's own) on the car screen, I can only get the inbuilt version. All was OK until I recently opened the onboard system, now I...
