Anyone wash their car today? ?

The Elf has been busy on Christmas Eve and cleaned the car for me. Wait! They left the interior for me to do, naughty Elf!

Another go today, this time 2 buckets and just Gyeon Eco wash which is a rinse less wash, quite like doing it this way and leaves a nice finish.
Just wash with a mitt and then towel dry, works well and also ordered some Koch Chemie RRW ( rapid rinseless wash) to try.

I've washed my daughter's car, my wife's car, and mine. Bloody sky rats carpet bombed all three with poop, so had to clean them all.

Chris (Bricktop) put me on to this.
So thought I'd try it.
The X Power was minging (well for me anyway)
So first off, a bloody good jet wash.
Then a good dose of Snow Foam (Autoglym Polar Blast, this stuff sticks like shit to a Blanket)
Then straight to washing the car, (Using me Merino wool wash mitt) No buckets of water used at all. And have to say, it worked brilliantly!
Then a jet wash rinse.
And finally a very quick blast down the Lancs, to dry off.
Job done.

Did mine yesterday, she got a citrus prewash, contact wash with Gyeon restart wash shampoo and a spray sealant applied and rinsed after then towel dry, glowing lovely.

Anyone have an opinion on how to wash underneath? I used to just give everything a cursory hose off with my ICE car. I realise the car is intended to be driven over puddles and in rain etc, just not sure how intensely one should be hosing underneath, and where if anywhere, to avoid.

You can get dedicated attachments for both hoses and pressure washers. I bought one of these for my Nilfisk 13 years ago now and it's still going strong.

I take mine to IMO twice a year.

If I'm honest, I'm not really bothered as what the eye can't see......

Although I could be talking Bollox, as I do take it twice a year!!

I've never washed underneath any car, that's what big puddles at the side of the road are for.

I would warn against pressure washers. They can strip paint, ruin seals and create invisible damage to tyres.
