Bad month for solar generation

Move to Oz, 44kwh is my daily winter production.

I guess that sort of thinking has kept us pretty well safe from interlopers

Understand completely but was reminded of the many British immigrants of the post WW2 era the other day when speaking to a friend who still happily refers to himself as a 10 Pound Pom. Strangely though we have considered a move to the UK in our more fanciful moments during recent trips there

Some friends of my parents emigrated in the 1960s, got really homesick after 18 months, came back to UK, hated it and returned to Aus.

Well, that sort of rules out moving to South Australia then As the sun was going down, it was still 38°C and started to rain/hail ..... it was all dried away with 30 mins of the rain stopping and now it is just humid enough to make a towel wet hanging under the patio Thankfully the air con is extracting the water out of the air so it's dryer inside than outside ....

Not so sunny in this part of East Anglia, only 14 kWh here from a 4kW array but on the plus side the FiT payment from that almost covers our total cost for the day including 5hr granny, dishwasher and Sunday lunch cooking.

So .... it was granny or the dishwasher that was cooked for Sunday lunch ..... or was granny the dishwasher? Cooked for 5 hrs you say, must be a tough ol girl ..... so who is going to wash the dishes now, bet you don't get a lot of volunteers after what happened to granny .......

I have noticed our solar generation has shot up in the last month or so.
Panels are close to max power output when the sun shines!

it's been a good week so far... over 55kWh yesterday was the best so far this year

Much better, first 3 days of March almost as much as the whole of December.

The last week of February saw me in net credit for the first time this year. Including standing charge and car charging. We'll see if this week can live up to it.
