I guess that sort of thinking has kept us pretty well safe from interlopersMy son said "why would you want to move to a country where everything is trying to kill you?"![]()
But you felt better afterwards, when the fever passed?Strangely though we have considered a move to the UK in our more fanciful moments during recent trips there![]()

Some friends of my parents emigrated in the 1960s, got really homesick after 18 months, came back to UK, hated it and returned to Aus.Understand completely but was reminded of the many British immigrants of the post WW2 era the other day when speaking to a friend who still happily refers to himself as a 10 Pound Pom. Strangely though we have considered a move to the UK in our more fanciful moments during recent trips there![]()
Didn't you say it was a move to Oz,? maybe he didn't hear it correctly and thought you'd said USMy son said "why would you want to move to a country where everything is trying to kill you?"![]()
... then you need to move to sunny East Anglia6.5kW here at 11am
Happy with my almost 30kWh production today, less happy with the 7.5kWh I lost to export for nothing
That could have given me about 25 miles for free.
Well, that sort of rules out moving to South Australia thenNo chance. I used to live in Sussex and it was too damn hot.
Not so sunny in this part of East Anglia, only 14 kWh here from a 4kW array but on the plus side the FiT payment from that almost covers our total cost for the day including 5hr granny, dishwasher and Sunday lunch cooking.... then you need to move to sunny East Anglia6.5kW here at 11am

Cooked for 5 hrs you say, must be a tough ol girl ..... so who is going to wash the dishes now, bet you don't get a lot of volunteers after what happened to granny .......Not so sunny in this part of East Anglia, only 14 kWh here from a 4kW array but on the plus side the FiT payment from that almost covers our total cost for the day including 5hr granny, dishwasher and Sunday lunch cooking.
