If it is not majorly important to you, I would leave well alone.Sounds like someone missed a tick during my updates then! Although it doesn't bother me either way about charging locked\unlocked whilst on AC, I worry what else might have been missed that does matter and I'm in 2 minds whether to chase up with the dealer. Bearing in mind If it ain't broke don't fix it and all that...
You could end up with more problems than you started with !.
You can still open the boot with the key close to the car, by just lifting up on the MG boot catch.
This will not interrupt the charge.
Only if you opened the car with the remote or by pressing the button on the door IF the car is in range, will disrupt the charge on the previous software.
Don’t know if you are aware, but you can check on the car when it is charging at home, by leaving the key out of range, then press the button on the drivers door.
It will show the charging process is the dash panel of the car for about 20 seconds.
