Can’t access the car

Got the AA coming out again after ringing them again and they said they would likely go out after it has been driven. Done that and they haven’t on locking the car up and opening it again and sitting in the seat several pop ups to say various systems not available and the EPS on reduced power and auto hold not available.

Sounds like something major is wrong and not just a flat battery to me?
We had a flat 12V the other week. Second time it’s happened. AA were quick and efficient. He checked the battery and established it wasn’t taking charge. New battery prescribed! For ease we bought one from AA and they fitted it straight away. As you say loads of warnings on the dash. He had a gizmo that reset the dash. Still faults displaying. He said we need to drive for a while. He came out in the car with me and we drove round for a bit. Stopped car , locked it then got back in and miraculously all faults disappeared!!!
Hope that’s the case for you!
So grateful for the service we got from the AA!

It hasn’t happened since but as you say AA was excellent at the second time of calling he reset the car from all the alarms that were showing and hung around and told me to go do a run whilst he waited at my house just for me to make sure I was happy that everything was back to normal. I did just that and on my return he wasn’t in a rush to drive away and we had a good chat about the different makes of electric cars and the famous Keep Lane Assist and Emergency Brake Assist and he was saying a lot of the new cars have had customers complaining about them.

Are you sure you are pressing the brake FIRMLY when starting the car. As a female, I have to pull the seat closer to the steering wheel to do this. If you don't press firmly the car does not power up properly and throws up error messages. Turn it off and start again.

Everything is working now but with a flat battery there was a bit more to it than what you are saying in your message. I didn’t get these alerts under normal operation.

Was doing it wrong so far as the key AA been and shown me how to get in. Haven’t had to do this before anyway he said it is a flat battery and something has drained it either the ignition or something has been left on got it fired up and been told to give it 20 minutes for the big battery to charge the 12 volt battery.

Got all sorts of warning lights on the dash will they disappear once driving or is there something else going on
I had exactly the same thing 6 months ago. Locked out, manual key wouldn’t turn either way, called the AA, sorted, but all warning lights lighting up. This stopped after a few days. Booked it in with my local MG dealer for testing any faults and got the software update to R59. It’s been ok since with the exception of the emergency call & SOS warning light’s coming on every day???

I had this at least every 30 minutes.
The tech found error codes stored relating to antenna faults.
He updated the TBox firmware to SNAKP23E32 and carried out an update via SIPS, which mostly fixed it (only a few messages in 4 months).

I’m already on R59 it was done at the first service done in June as well as some recall issues I took the opportunity to complain about the Keep Lane Assist as well as the Radio kept dropping out between start ups. Can’t say the Keep Lane Assist has improved though it’s still the same as it was before.
