Current journey screen "wobble"

It was only recently that someone asked me what mileage I had done in the car. I'm ashamed to say that I hadn't a clue how to find out so I then looked for a screen that would tell me. Anyhow, once I found it, I left the screen on the current jourmey setting recently just to see how far one of my regular trips actually is. It works just fine but once its been on for a while it starts to jump back to the normal default screen every few minutes. It "wobbles" a bit then jumps back after a couple of seconds. It's not really a problem but I just wondered if anybody else has seen this, or maybe it is just normal behaviour?

That is my biggest gripe with the software! If I want to see my mpkWh, that's what I want it to stay on. I have noticed that when the Lane Assist icon goes from yellow to green, it switches the display to the car between the lines display.

It's by design, unfortunately. I would call it an industry usability problem since I've driven a lot of models and this kind of we-know-better-than-the-user behaviour is common.
