Cyberster - what we know so far

Thank you for posting your impressions and that's good news about the yoke, that increases the appeal for me.

Looks nice in that colour combination.
The facebook groups have had lots of questions. I guess people would rather use that than forums! ?. The UX layout on Facebook is terrible lol

In regards to the Yoke its not looking easy to get hold off. I tried searching using Mandarin characters and searching on the Chinese Cyberster forum. I have a feeling its probably only available from SAIC Factory or Used where someone has swapped it out.

15 days to inspect it and check everything. Hopefully all goes smooth.

Anyone who placed an order in the uk. Has anyone actually had a confirmed delivery and handover date yet ?
Things seem to have gone a little quiet.
I was told that the one with my name on it was in the UK (stuck at the port maybe?) and I would be the first to get one but I am sure that's just hype

Give it 6 to 9 months and there'll be yokes all over Aliexpress, along with re-designed tail lights for those who don't like the arrows. ;)

The checks only take a couple of hours, the other fortnight is at the bodyshop, sorting out any shipping damage! :ROFLMAO:
I saw this being suggested on Facebook. The negatives of RORO handled by Dave just back from Marbella....still tipsy.

Halos to replace the arrows would be cool

Also no ones mentioned anything about underneath the car being sealed and rust protection for our salt roads. We are assuming this is most peoples second/ summer car.

Just spoken to Wilsons Epsom. They do not actually have that car in the showroom, they said it was the same car I saw several weeks ago but for advertising purposes they temporarily changed the number plates.
It is quite common for some dealers to advertise cars they know they've been allocated as "in stock" even though they don't yet have the car.

Not saying this is a good thing, but it is definitely a thing.

Cyberster vs MG4 Xpower Drag in Philippines. Not sure which trim probably the Trophy judging by the wheel spin. Although the GT is apparently rear wheel drive outside Sport.

It is the Trophy. They do not sell the GT in the Philippines.
Not good for the image of the car. Some of my friends in Manila do not accept the Cyberster as a sports car. They see it as a cruiser only. The GT would beat most of the super expensive sport cars, also in traction and cornering, but if it is not sold it can not show it.

With the Cyberster, we aren't getting stock for a while, they will be sold orders only at this stage, stock or cancelled orders are taken back by MG for other dealers sold orders
