Diagnostic VDI, VNCI, MDI with MG4

@leonkernan I found your post in XDA, there is a development and it looks promising
Yes, hopefully we can use that as a more technical forum than here.
I’m keen to see how they did that too!

Got it! The trick is the On Screen Keyboard.

I used the Bluetooth settings, Device name to bring up the keyboard.
Hold down on the comma until the settings appear.
Select Android Keyboard Settings.
Select Languages
Use the search box at the top to search for any Android setting.

I searched for About, went to about phone and turned on developer mode.
You can also search for Wifi to turn that on.

Works on the SE for sure, should also work on the Trophy.

Here's a video to help explain it:

Very nice. I'm trying on R59, but the keyboard is different and holding the comma doesn't work
Edit:
Yes! Found it in the @ sign in Amazon login

Well done!

And the best part, we can always downgrade back to these versions, so they can't take this away from us with an update.
Everything works fine.
It would be interesting to make our own Launcher more integrated with the native system UI, it would certainly be possible quite easily

I set Nova Launcher as default, I adjusted the size of the labels and icons on the home a bit and you can easily go back to SAICLauncher via the shortcut. After that I would like to see if it is possible to have a more human UI scaling, the SAIC APPs work at a much higher scaling but the regular apps are very small.
Of course in case of a service it is possible to set SAICLauncher as default and everything is as before

This seems to be a difference in the SAIC versions.
The iSmart Lite version doesn't like me changing the launcher. It always switches back to the SAIC one and doesn't offer any choices when you press the home button.

I've tested with both the Nova and Microsoft Launchers. Both work but getting back to them is very hard.
Changing the DPI is likely to break the SAIC apps.

Have you tried changing the default launcher in Android Settings > Apps > Choose default apps > Home app?
Yes, I confirm increasing the scaling from the settings makes the SAIC apps bigger making them unusable

Yes, and it shows the setting being right. The button still triggers the SAIC launcher though.
I think you can solve it with a floating virtual home button.
I'm working on it:

it's too inconvenient to have nova on the home button, it's a car in the end. I'm making it more beautiful, I'll send the source and apk on xda

Anyway, the scaling thing drives me nuts, the apps are almost unusable without binoculars :ROFLMAO: .

SAIC just made everything bigger without following scaling, which makes sense btw.
Rooting the device I believe it is still possible to change DPI for a single app

Anyone managed to get a SNW login through RMI recently, I'm going to have to give up for now until I hopefully get the chargebacks

Same, I've had to give up as I'm about £100 down, not heard back from any chargeback request yet
Hmm l wonder if SAIC have stopped the general public gaining access to it?
I hope you can retrieve your lost funds.

Hi, where can I see that I have a company account and not a normal?
I believe it is in the user profile.
If you intend to make a payment I would recommend only getting an hour first to make sure it still works, some of us are no longer able to gain access even after payment has been made.

I wanted to test this evening by purchasing 1 hour. Well I received login credentials and I was able to connect to SIPS.
However, do the identifiers remain the same when you buy access later?
