Disconnecting communications link with external computers

Deactivate TBox through engineering mode
Failing that unplug TBox
I think i'd try disconnecting the antenna from the TBox before going that deep into it.

Do you mean the ismart app?
I don’t think disabling the iSMART app would necessarily prevent communications with the MG4

I think I'd be nervous about removing the load (antenna) from a radio transmitter.
Why would you be nervous?

This sounds like the best solution. Do you have instructions for both deactivation and unplugging the TBox, please?

Looks like related discussion going on in this Thread. The TBox fuse box is mentioned: Location of the "T-Box" telematics ECU

As people are determined here's some info
F6 is the fuse but it also stops another system
If you want to unplug it it's behind the glovebox
Personally wouldn't unplug the antenna with module still powered, in high signal areas it'll still partially work & likely burn out the RF circuit over time

Personally I wouldn't go screwing with the TBox (and I was prepared to flash a different Infotainment version!).
It's tied to too much and physically disabling it will cause issues.
If you look at the fault finding document, it's tied to the immobiliser and key detection.

So you're recommending antenna removal?

Although it's linked to immobilizer, lock, unlock etc that's for app unlock & start
TBOX is optional, not all international models have it so shouldn't effect the cars normal operation

Whereas unplugging the antenna but keeping the TBOX powered will likely break it BER, it'll make it so you won't be able to undo it if you want to sell the car

To disable it I'm not sure if clearing data in the engineering mode will be enough, it stops data from working but not the ecall
