I checked at UK website and it says there is a LCA system in the car. as i know from my Zeekr, LCA is automatic lance change when indicating at TJA/ICA system
someone who got recently their new MG4 can approve?

I’ve got the trophy equivalent in Australia and mine doesn’t have LCA as far as I know.

I wonder if this might be for the European upgrade that’s rumoured to come this year. Based on the car’s current capabilities of keeping its lane, I doubt I’d use this function much tbh

MG define LCA as follows:

8. Lane Change Assist (LCA)
Changing lanes always requires concentration to ensure you have enough space to gently manoeuvre your vehicle. However blind spots can prevent the driver from having a clear idea of when it is safe to move. The Lane Change Assist (LCA) provides an additional, visible signal alongside the Blind Spot Monitoring to alert the driver to a potential hazard.

Yes indeed. It was also beeping annoyingly in the spring of 2024 after the updates the car had. Particularly after passing trucks and going back to the lane. It beeped if you were a truck length in front at 100kmh or more with trucks doing at 85 to 90 kmh.
"Blind Spot Detection ( BSD ) alerts the vehicles in the vehicle's blind spot ( 1 as shown), Lane Change Assist ( LCA ) alerts the rapidly approaching vehicles on the adjacent left or right lane ( 2 as shown)."
It assumed the truck is rapidly approaching and fires a warning. They fixed that I think in May 2024.

Now, after a full upgrade to everything associated to R63 and the latest update of LKA, it is back again (together with yet another ACC error).

I believe that this refers to the feature whereby the blind spot warning light (in the wing mirror) flashes rapidly to warn the driver of nearby vehicles when the indicator is activated. Nothing I've been able to access in the ACC/TJA system actively repositions the car from lane A to lane B.

Cars 15 meters behind you are not in your blind spot.
LCA does not actively do anything but assist you in the manouvre.
