I use normal most of the time, eco when in town and there’s traffic.
I just wish one could remove options from the driving modes. Toggling through is pretty annoying.changing driving modes is nice as can be assigned to shortcut button on wheel.
Yes this is exactly what is happening with my X-Powerwhen re-selecting Custom, they were all back to basic, rather than the settings I had chosen.
That's weird. I have an Xpower in UK on R40 software and it remembers the Custom setting for me (Eco drive and Sport steering as I prefer it heavier). It's there every time, although I have to switch from Normal like everyone else gets at start-up.Yes this is exactly what is happening with my X-Power
Yes I agree with this.Honestly I can't say that the drive modes make a huge difference for me, ECO dulls the throttle response and limits the maximum power, I've not used SPORT so far so cannot comment on that. So 99% of the time I just drive in NORMAL with regen level 3. That's happens to be the default setting so it's just get in and go. If you drive a lot on motorways then the drive mode will make very little difference as you tend to cruise at a set speed, around town it will be more noticeable but personally I don't like the throttle in ECO.
My wife chooses Eco, not to save energy, but because she's uncomfortable with the acceleration she gets in normal. Of course, another way to accelerate more gently is to use less pedal. But Eco does encourage you to accelerate less aggressively, and hence use less charge reaching your cruising speed.Thanks. That's what I thought it might be. I prefer the feel of Normal to Eco so I'll stick with that.
