Hi all,
As a newbie to the world of electric car ownership (and an old fashioned say it like it is kind of guy) does anyone have a handy list of what all the abbreviations actually mean?
ie…. GOM etc
Just so I can follow forum chats without having to google search.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps we should add one.

A quick search turned up these two; not ideal, anf neither mention the Guess-O-Meter (GOM, estimated range, notoriously variable).

I think that kW (kilowatts) vs. kWh (kilowatt hours) is a key one.
The former is a flow rate. So a) how much power can the car motors deliver or b) how much power will a charger deliver.
The latter is a stock amount, so this relates to how much power is in the battery. 50kWh is a good reference size battery, but longer range cars will have a bigger battery than this.

This US video seems useful:

Here is a British one:

Just to say I've obviously gone off on a tangent and been thinking of what to show people who are new to EVs rather than a list of abbreviations per se.
