Forward Collision Detection

You've got me questioning mine, I'll have to check in the morning. I have it set in the most sensitive setting and I have to admit it's never really given any false warnings.
My Suzuki Swift used to go off all the time, even hitting the brakes every time I approached a small roundabout near my home, weaving through the parked cars in my street also used to initiate the warning and sometimes the braking.

Mines like your Swift was and constantly going off in normal mode, even without warning. Low seems much but just resets with the ignition, hence before I raise this with my dealer, I thought I’d ask others first ?

Well, consider me annoyed. Just been out and checked and you're right - it defaults back to medium after every restart.
That, along with not being able to remember the drive and KERS settings really gets on my tits.
I don't want to have to change settings every time I go for a bastard drive!

I agree with you, once set it should remain. I’ve checked the manual and I cannot find anything that suggests it resets. My thoughts are that this is a software bug and I’ll raise this with my dealer.

What is a Bastard Drive? Where is it located on the ZS EV? I will call my Dealer tomorrow and enquire about the Bastard Drive.

Yes mine resets every time too, very annoying! Has anyone got any resolution, I have tried a number of times to reset to off or less sensitive settings, each time after restart its back at maximum?

Also applies to Intelligent speed assist which I like to use every time I but have to spend time setting it before every journey - most annoying

Think some of it will be to do with the safety rating that the car has, it will only allow the safety settings to be changed once the car is started to go on a drive then reset again, I have to admit I have never had an issue with mine whatsoever
