I was out during today and my car seemed to take over the steering now and again, my wife said people behind us will think your drunk, the car seemed to zig zag, it was quite a scary experience, any ideas what it is, my wife is scared to travel in the car0

You need to turn off the lane assistance not just MG Pilot - press the button on the end of your light stalk to disable it.

Mine needs a double press to turn it off. It works best on faster roads with clearly defined edges, then it's not bad at all.

Mike's the same. It's like the infuriating windows - you have to wait to hear a click before you can roll the windows back up.

My windows roll up and down freely as soon as you press the buttons.

Who is Mike? What have the windows got to do with MG Pilot?

I obviously meant "mine" ?
The point I'm making is that the stalk has to be pressed twice when it should only have to be pressed once, my windows are also the same.

If for instance you roll the windows down to clear the moisture so you can see better, as soon as they get to the bottom and I pull the switch back up they won't come back up straight away. I have to pull the switch twice or wait until I hear what I assume is a relay and then roll them up. There's several seconds delay before they can be rolled back up.

Mine don't do that, they respond straight away. I only have to pull the switch twice if I'm changing direction, e.g. if the window is going down and I pull up on the switch, the first pull stops the window and the second sends it up, no delay though. No delay on pulling it up after it reaches the bottom either.

Must mean mine is "quirky", although not worthy of speaking to the dealer about it. It's going in for a week this month to have the entire roof dismantled to sort a creak.

Dunno that my windows need two presses, will have to check that next time I'm in the car.
