Great day out with your MG? Post up a picture ?

Attitude! That's exactly it.
Don't think it satisfied my wife who expects a functional return on investment but it was the best I got - and all for sub-£20. Better value than Halfrauds f'sho ?

Combined with the black badge cover on red and I'm loving it. Think the blue looks awesome in the thread too ?

Good grief man hold easy on that dazzly toothpaste ?
I’ve found the perfect location for a totally static, non action blurry photograph of an MG preferably on a dreary wet day. It’s only 67 boring miles from my door and then I’ll have to drag myself all the dreary road back again. I reckon this fits Mr Bricktop’s latest challenge perfectly and I’m all mildly underwhelmed about the entire expedition.

It is of course

A jaunty drag

To, wait for it

I’m just bored ?
I’m really fired up with total lethargy and as it happens tomorrow I have an exciting appointment with my diabetic nurse so a wee trip over into Perthshire might just screw up my entire day. Except the weather is pretty much perfect over there tomorrow so that might brighten up the entire day I’m afraid ? I promise not to look for any bright side.

I’ve “done” the Boring bit in Oregon that’s mentioned on the signpost. My wife and I flew into Seattle some years ago and drove down to San Diego and back. We were held up for two days when a giant mushroom gave me monumental food poisoning. We headed south following a route past some of the volcanoes including Mount St Helens and Mount Shasta.
Then on the way back north we stayed on Highway 101 up the beautiful Big Sur Pacific coastline.
So that was the Boring bit which was fabulous - the Dull bit has to be different?? I shall endeavour to stem the boredom and report.

I'm going to start a new thread......

Parked Your Car Somewhere Dull?

Mine will be the first post....

Parked outside a shop.?

Better call Captain Scarlet. It looks like you've got an attack of the Mysterons....

This dull day is going catastrophically wrong so far. The sun is beating down as I sit here in Crieff with a fine bowl of lentil soup, a cheese scone and coffee.
The five is ambling along at 4.5 m/kW and has about 160 miles inn the old leclenchés so all is well in this corner of the planet for now.
Right, onwards to Dull ?

Oh heck it’s getting less Dull by the metre

Magnette in the heart of Dull.
And it’s most definitely not - it’s idyllic. But the old Mill in Aberfeldy no longer mills or sells flour

Well folks that was a total unmitigated disaster today. My quest was to take a picture in a dull location. I confidently imagined therefore that a place on the map called Dull would do me nicely. How wrong can one be ?
Dull is a small hamlet / village type group of houses nestled in a gorgeous hillside with loads of space and lush greenery everywhere. I just stood looking around and idyllic was my best description, it’s lovely.
After the A9 dual carriageway the roads lead through Braco, Muthill and Crieff then on via the sma’ glen, Amullree and Aberfeldy And finally arriving at Dull. All A roads and all in very good condition. The MG5 wafted wonderful at 40 to 50 almost silently and ate up the hills and generated power beautifully on a good many downhills.
I left with GOM saying I could travel 210 miles. It was about 70 miles each way and GOM was showing 65 miles when I arrived home and plugged in to prepare for another possible trip over the Cairn o’ Mount road tomorrow to Banchory.
So the dullest thing today was the rainstorm on the way back from Stirling to home but all that did was rinse off the seagull exhaust from yesterday ?

The road to Dull isn’t.

Isn't it a little awkward eating soup whilst ambling along in the five ?

????? this ev nonsense is costing far too much !!!
All I wanted was a wee top up, at home, just to keep a reserve available.
And here we are , this blasted senseless system of fuelling one’s transport has done it again.
There I was emptying the washing machine and realised the car was plugged in and I’d forgotten about it - again.
I rushed out ( no mamby pamby phone app with a pre face lift proper MG5 ) and checked.
Disaster - the darned thing is way OTT. It’s at 87% with the giggling GOM saying 236 miles or something.
So now I’m in a dilemma- I’ll have to forego my favourite housework and head off to reduce that charge level but that’s where the expense comes in - to reduce the vehicular range will inevitably have an equal and opposite effect on bladder range with the associated caffeine addiction revealing its ugly head. I’ll therefore have to think of a suitably positioned coffee emporium which is at the correct distance to bleed off the power back to safe levels.
Oh these evs really are more worth than they’re trouble
And the cost of coffee ? Ridiculous ?
