The only thing is, I don't think we ill ever have that many EVs in this country.

For home users you could hang an emitter on the wall and have receivers built into the front grill. Use the creep function to approach a soft pad under the emitter until a light comes on to indicate you are close enough.

It's basically the same concept as an induction hob.
