Latest firmware / maps

Hi

Just ordered a 2024 long range trophy.

What is the latest firmware revision for the infotainment and what is the latest firmware for the navigation.

Searched and found no clear answer and i just want to be sure the car is delivered with the "latest and greatest", so would prefer to know so that i can point it out, if the car is not "up to snuff" at delivery time

Congratulations first. There are quite a few posts on the subject

Don't bother with satnav software because it will be at least 6-12 months old and it does not have all the bells and whistles of Google maps... Dealer is not expected to update it although you can try asking for it. You can also do that yourself but - again, don't bother updating it, just buy Android Auto or CarPlay dongle on AliExpress and use Google maps - always up to date and with live traffic... + all your music and other apps available to use at the same time ...

I am totally going to use android auto, but i would also, always make sure to have the latest map update on the system as a backup. I use google maps on my Phone but i have a backup, offline nav app as well for backup in case there is no signal or maps goes down.

Infotainment software could be updated OTA but it seems they never did any updates this way, but it seems there was an update or 2 that was applied when the car is serviced. ?

I previously owned a ZS EV and i seem to remember there being a page with satnav and infotainment SW info, i was hoping someone could tell me the most up to date versions, so I can check at delivery time.

please see link below on how to check the latest version and update; if you download the zip file it will tell you the date but when I was updating in May 2024, the latest version was Q3 of 2023 , so at least 6 months old.

One could fear that the map updates for the current ZS EV will "dry out" when the new version comes next year.

Unless offcourse the map files are the same for old and new.

But as you said...AA make the built in navi redundant anyway.
