Lock car close windows.

Just curious does anyone know if when you lock the car the windows automatically close?

My car is parked 2 streets over connected to a public charger. I am sure I closed the windows and I am just worrying about nothing. It got me wondering this question?

You can open the windows by holding the unlock button and then close holding the lock button on some models but I don't think they close on their own.

As it is pissing down with rain I did go double check and yes of course it was closed.

Might be a nice feature though. Lock car windows close. Lol but then again there will someone who likes the windows left open.

Perhaps a setting in the infotainment would help please everyone.

Lol but in MG style it would not remember your selection

As @Jomarkh said above ...

With the pre-facelift MG5 and, presumably also the facelift version, as was the case with my old MG6, pressing and holding the lock button on the key fob for about 3 seconds will close any open windows and lock the car; pressing and holding the unlock button for a similar length of time will both unlock the car and open all the windows.
