I’m doubtful, regarding a temperature connection. I doubt the electronics in individual cars are affected by low temperatures, when temperatures across the UK will be different. There is problem in that, in order to verify this, it would require affected users to log in, to determine the internal temperature, and of course this would be an impossibility.
I’m still of the mind that this is a problem with the app, if you scroll up this list it has not worked intermittently, over a period of some seven weeks. The first reports being on the 2nd of December, when it wasn’t cold.
Yesterday morning, I tried, in order to start the warm up process, and it was not working. Later in the day I checked, and it was working. Due to either the temperature, or the App?
Today it’s working again, and reporting -1C in the car.
There is definitely something wrong with it. What, if in an emergency, you needed it to use the “find my car” option, and it was not working.
MG UK (01216-550365) need to be informed in order that they can take action.Just tried mine. -4 outside. Changed and updated nothing. Working perfectly. I suspect it’s a server issue their end.
