Same here, ordered Trophy in Blue from same dealer on 5th Jan, Expected April. As long as it arrives before July Im happy. (Current PCP ends then). Sooner the better though.I ordered the Trophy in Battersea Blue from Baylis MG in Gloucester on Sat 4th Dec. The original delivery date I was given then was 28th March.
I popped in a couple of weeks ago as I was nearby and was told that the date hadn't changed.
My guess is that it'll be June-ish - hopefully I'm wrong and it's earlier than that.
Thanks. Its not been announced yet, though its thought to cost around £200 - £250 for the V2L adapter.
Interesting. So £2,500 difference between the SE and Trophy for the SR but £4,000 difference between the SR & trophy for the LR. I suspect that MG is artificially keeping the trophy LR price high, whilst they work through all the back orders, then once these are delivered, my prediction is that the Trophy LR will reduce to £31,995 to get the £1500 PICG and keep the same price differential as the SR.MG Website has been updated and includes pricing for the short range models.
(Correct as of 13/Jan/22)
- SR SE - £27,495
- SR Trophy - £29,995
- SR Connect - £30,495
- LR SE - £29,495
- LR Trophy - £33,495
- LR Connect - £33,995
Think it might be complicated by all the SR models, and the LR SE, qualifying for the grant?Interesting. So £2,500 difference between the SE and Trophy for the SR but £4,000 difference between the SR & trophy for the LR. If MG reduced the price of the Trophy LR now, a lot of people would cancel their orders and place a new order at the lower price.
Yeah agree, looks pretty bang on to happen. I'm holding out to see what happens. ?So £2,500 difference between the SE and Trophy for the SR but £4,000 difference between the SR & trophy for the LR.
I concur that is probably why they've not dropped the prices yet to make them all below the £32k. I wonder if a delay on delivery will cause issues though, will they be able to sustain sales when the competition is getting so much closer on price from more trusted brands, they may not be able to hold off on dropping the prices below £32k until May or so.Interesting. The car in part ex plus £750 thrown in on top of the p/ex car which is Arnold Clark special offer so that totals £2700 up front, 12000 miles a year, 4 years lease, £345 a month. Oh and blue paint too.How long is that for? Anything up front?
